During Synod, the District EDI Officer, Rev Andrew Brazier, interviewed the Director of Inclusion for the Methodist Church, Bevan Powell, and Learning Network Officer, Stuart Watkin, about next steps in the Justice, Dignity and Solidarity strategy of the Methodist Church.


On behalf of the Synod, the District Chair expressed gratitude to the Deputy District Chair, Rev Rachael Hawkins, who will be leaving the district in August to take up a new ministerial appointment.


On behalf of the Synod, the District Chair expressed gratitude to Geoff Best at the conclusion of his service to the district as Local Preachers' Tutor.
