Announcement of New District Chair 

The Revd Dr David Chapman's term as Chair of the Bedfordshire, Essex & Hertfordshire District will come to its end in August 2027.  Work has been ongoing to discern the next Chair of the District.  The Representative Autumn Synod on 12 September 2026 nominated the Revd Canon Michael D Parker to take up that role.

Mike is the Chaplain-General for the British Army, the most senior Army chaplain nationally.  He will join us in September 2027.  Please keep him and his family in your prayers, along with the District, as we continue on this journey.
